    Still struggling to get it right with your marketing strategy on Social Media then read through to discover these 9 big mistakes most people fail at Social Media Marketing.So grab your pen and paper let's read along...1. Not Having a Marketing plan: In Social Media Marketing you can't just start anyhow. That's not a good strategy. So your first step is to write down your goals either big or small. The next thing is to learn about the specific strategy for the Social Media platform you will be promoting on. Yes that means you will have to invest in some courses and mentors that will help you achieve that .2. Not Having Goals: Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? This can be a really hard question for most entrepreneurs because they don't even know what their goals are. They want a better life but not specific enough. So I want you to write your goals with lot of details. Write down when you want to achieve it, if it's a car, house or how many followers you want to have, and so many other things.3. Stop Spamming: You keep spamming because you don't have a social media marketing plan.4 Always being right: Stop that mindset of "I'm always right". You can't get far. Some people have mastered Social Media Marketing and probably they know more than you so the best you can do for yourself is to learn from them.5. Not knowing how to sell is a bad Social media marketing strategy: You have to learn how to sell if you want to see bigger and better results in your online business. There are lots of courses out there that can teach you how to sell.6. Fake life: Instead of being fake with your audience, you can use a better Social Media Marketing strategy like sharing valuable contents. This way you can inspire your audience and they get to know you better.7. Not Checking their analytics: A lot of us are guilty of this. The results of always checking your analytics will help you to know what's working and what isn't.8. Not being consistent with social media posting: This is one of the worst mistakes any entrepreneur can make. Being consistent has a lot of benefits on Social Media. Most of the top brands we admire today has chosen to remain consistent.9. Using the same content format: I will advise you spice up your contents frequently. Using the same type of content might bore your audience. Use video, photos, audio, and always remember to share value. Share some funny contents. Remember that consistency is the key to success. Yes consistency will help you achieve your goals.So how can you start being consistent with your post ? Well you can achieve that with a content calendar.     The past few weeks has been so hectic for me. But I'm back here.Today i want to share with you some steps on how to plan content easily with a Social Media Content Calendar..1. First you need to choose the platform that has your target audience then you decide the content format that best suits the platform ( Image, Text or Video)2. Write down your goals: Before writing a content calendar you need to be clear on what you really want to achieve. Ask yourself what you really want to achieve with this post, who's your target audience, how will it benefit them. From there go deeper and use SMART goals formular.3. Note the essential holidays: Write down the essential holidays and observances. You can start by making a list of the holidays and observances you want to celebrate with your audience but make sure it's relevant to your business.4. Know what products you will promote: This will help you create contents that will drive more sales.5. Set your social media content pillars: This will help you to create a consistent and compelling message for your audience.6. Brainstorm social media content ideas: Now that you have your content pillars, start by making looking at each pillar and ask yourself what contents you can create around it.7. Plan and schedule : Decide on how you will schedule your contents ( a week, month or year).8. Use a content planning tool: I will advise Google Sheet for beginners then Hootsuite or Buffer for those that are more experienced.9. You can use Canva app for images and carousels, Inshot and Capcut for video editing .10.
